Lettuce has spent more than three decades redefining what a live band can be. Formed by six lifelong musical partners—Adam Deitch (drums), Adam "Shmeeans" Smirnoff (guitar), Erick "Maverick" Coomes (bass), Ryan "Zoid" Zoidis (saxophones, synths), Eric "Benny" Bloom (trumpet), and Nigel Hall (vocals, keyboards)—the GRAMMY-nominated collective has built its reputation on explosive performances where no two nights are ever the same. Every show is a conversation between the band and the audience, fueled by fearless improvisation, deep musical chemistry, and a shared love for funk in all its forms.
Lettuce World was created for the fans who know that the magic doesn't stop when the lights come up. Fresh off tours with Wu-Tang Clan legend GZA and reggae icon Ziggy Marley, along with the release of their latest album Cook and critically acclaimed live album and concert film Lettuce with the Colorado Symphony, the band continues to push forward creatively while honoring the musical lineage of James Brown and the JB's, Tower of Power, Maceo Parker, and the artists who helped shape their sound.
The Cook experience extends far beyond the music. Alongside the album, Lettuce partnered with Aquila Cellars to release Red Crush and Orange Crush wines and created a limited-edition recipe book pairing dishes with each song, further embracing the idea that music, food, and community are best enjoyed together.
